hanging out in an animation studio, you hear a lot of big talk about story development, character motivation, dramatic pacing, gags, etc etc etc. these films have complex structures and emotional high points that are meant to stay with the kids who are watching for years and years to come.
Or you can just make some wacked-out 3 minute trip about counting to 12, and it turns into the most unforgettable film experience kids under the age of 10 will ever have. |
